My story
I born in Istanbul and living there since I born ( for 26 years :) ). My family and I live here. Never getting bored or thought to leave here because I am in love with this city. I didn't change the city because I don't think I can live in any other city in Turkey. In my opinion, Istanbul has more uniqueness and more life conditions than others in our country.
What do I do here?
I am Çağrı and have graduated from the Computer Engineering department at the end of 2018. When I was a student, I have been in most of the places in Istanbul. My house's location is at the rightmost part of the Asian side of İstanbul but my university was on the European side. I spent many times on public transportation and both parts of the city. I am not working for any company and have many free times for now. I love hanging out with my friends, love being social and meet with new people. When I see the Localie, though it's a great idea for me and wanted to join.
What's the best of my city?
Istanbul is the bridge between Asia and Europe continents. This connection provides not only geographically but also cultural, historical, social and more. As we locals in Istanbul, we are standing on a great history. This city had experienced many empires' conquest and it has collected many historical buildings, cultural behaviors, etc. When I cross the Bosphorus with ferries, I see different architectures of different old empires. It is where modern and old meets. It smells like history. So there are many places to take a photo and feel great. Also, I love our food and I can find many different tastes from all over Turkey. Because it is the most popular and crowded city of the country, and people from different parts of Turkey, brought their region's specific cuisine. We can say it is the summary of our countries gastronomy.
