Since childhood I have traveled a lot with my parents. Especially we often visited Austria, as we love skiing. Several years ago I moved from Moscow to Austria to continue my studies in Salzburg and have never regretted it. I combine my studies with an active lifestyle; I get to know Austrian culture and local lifestyle with great interest every day.
Despite the fact that Moscow is a huge city, a city of opportunities and for many it is a dream city, I personally have always wanted to live somewhere else and preferably in a fundamentally opposite format. My friends told me that on a student visa it is not difficult enough to move from Russia and start your journey in Austria. That's exactly what I did.
Most of all I like Salzburg because here you are as close as possible to the beautiful nature and at the same time stay in a modern city. Initially, it may seem to you that Austrian country life is too measured and boring but waking up every morning and seeing the majestic mountains around you is fantastic. You will for sure want to conquer mountain peaks in the literal and figurative sense and set new goals for yourself.
Which season is the best to visit? - at any time of the year, in every season in Salzburg there is something special (for example: Christmas markets and festivities, ski season, Easter holidays, summer season with trekking in the mountains and in the second half of summer one of the most famous music festivals in Europe). If you are planning a trip to Vienna or Munich, then I advise you to leave at least one day for the trip to Salzburg. I would like to invite you to take a walk around Salzburg. It is a graceful Austrian city with its own face, built on the profits from the sale of salt, which has been mined in these places for several millennia. The city where the great Mozart was born. Salzburg was a candidate to host the 2014 Winter Olympics. It is also a very modern city, which I will gladly open to you.
