After living in Cambridge (UK), Vilnius (Lithuania), Rome (Italy), and Shanghai (China), when I was 23 years old I decided to return to the city where I was born to work with my family. Now that I have been living here again for 2 years, I am also happy to be able to travel through the stories of tourists who want to discover my magnificent city, Lecce.
I love history and geography, and even though I studied economics in college, I still read as many books as I can, especially on the history of my homeland. Being born near the sea, I like all water sports and I also practice Padel, Soccer, and Chess with friends!
Positioned at the eastern gate, my Roman ancestors called my area "De Finibus Terrae," meaning "The End of the Earth." This area has always been a crossroads of trade between all parts of the known (at that time) world, intertwining Europe, Africa, and Asia. This has generated a unique cultural melting-pot, the result of the true essence of the Mediterranean Sea
When I take my friends on a tour of my city, I try to make them fall in love as much as I am, with all the stories, the intrigues the details that characterize each glimpse. Each stone has its own story, but the stories were made by human beings. Therefore, I also try to introduce them to the people who animate the city today and who are its living soul with its memories of past times and its dreams for future ones.
