My name is Rahila Erinal, I’m 35. I moved to Urgup, one of the towns of Cappadocia, from Baku, Azerbaijan. The reason for my move is love ❤️ and a wedding with a resident of Urgup of Istanbul origin. I have been living here since the summer of 2019, in addition to this, I often came here for vacations. From my hobbies I can single out travel. I have visited 41 countries and I do not intend to stop at this figure. Also, thanks to my first visit to Cappadocia in 2015, I started horseback riding and regularly practise in the local valleys. I love cooking, cinema, communication, animals and nature. I speak Russian and Turkish.
After the move, my life changed dramatically. In addition to changing the country and marital status (as well as the last name)), I left my favorite job. For many years I worked as a flight attendant, first in civil, then in business aviation in my native Baku. At the new place I am renting part of our house to tourists, still do not work officially. I decided to give myself time to get used to the new place. I take care of the house, my husband and our beautiful German shepherd, as well as a mini squad of white pigeons).
Cappadocia is a unique region not only on the scale of Turkey, but also on a global scale. Endless valleys, vineyards, organic delicious food, unique bizarre rocks (the locals call them fairy chimneys), daily hot air balloon flights at dawn, horse farms, cave hotels, ancient churches and underground cities, houses carved into rocks that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. And this is just a fraction of what Cappadocia has to offer its guests. And these sunsets! You just have to see them.
For me, Cappadocia is love at first sight. A wonderful atmosphere reigns here, local people are friendly and pleasant to talk to. Cappadocia is a region created for eco-tourism and unity with nature. There is something to do here for almost any category of travelers. Trekking in valleys with a unique landscape, hot air balloon ride, horseback or camel riding, quad bike safari, wine tasting in local wineries, visiting open-air museums and walking along the streets of Avanos, Goreme, Urgup, Ortahisar, Uchisar and much more. Each town in the region has its own flavor. Cappadocia will find its way to everyone's heart.
