I was born in Italy and moved to Copenhagen in 2014. My first contact with Copenhagen was in 2009, I was struck by the relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout the city, the happy young families spending time with their children in public parks, the girls cycling alone at night without feeling insecure, the incredible bicycle infrastructure, the way in which old and new architectures come together in a perfect mix. So, 4 years later, when I was looking for a design job in the green economy, I immediately sent an email to companies based here. Luckily one was looking for a designer: so I moved to Copenhagen, designed a cargo bike for them and then I even managed to get hired. That's all!
I’m a funny storyteller from Italy. I’ve always been a creative mind and a dreamer, that's why I studied industrial design: to improve the world with innovative and meaningful products! I am passionate about sustainable urban mobility solutions: this brought me to Copenhagen, the bicycle capital. Now I work as a designer for a cargo bike company, in my free time I explore the surroundings by bicycle or on foot with my friends. Before moving to Copenhagen I worked as a designer in Milan and Miami. I have always had the attitude of a tour guide: in Milan I lived in a loft located in a former factory, I hosted people with Couchsurfing and took them on a guided tour of the building, the city and all the alternatives places around. Moving to Copenhagen simply amplified this attitude of mine!
Copenhagen is considered one of the most liveable cities in the world, and Denmark is also one of the happiest Countries in the world: I think trying to decode the secret recipe is worth a trip here! Personally, I think the unique mix of laid-back lifestyle (have you ever heard the famous word “hygge”?), the bicycle culture, the countless places with high quality food, the fairytale atmosphere of some neighborhoods, the perfect coexistence between old and new architecture, the tension towards a sustainable future and the omnipresent attention to fun are all essential ingredients of the recipe. And I'll let you try them all!
BIKE and FUN! My way of showing Copenhagen is based on these 2 factors, my goal is to amaze you and make you smile. You will see hidden gems of the city, unknown even to many Copenhageners. You will have a unique experience, full of emotions: from excitement to hygge! And if the city is not enough, I can take you out to see beautiful places (by bike, train or car).
