After moving around for quite some bit during school and my job requirements I have found myself in one of the most multicultural cities in the world and that is Toronto. I didn't grow up in Toronto, but I call it home now. It's kind of shocking to most when I tell them I grew up in a hamlet, yes a hamlet with less than 30 people and my family was one-third of the population lol. So I am the epitome of a small town or hamlet resident living in the big city. During my travels down under I connected with a lot of people and I believe I have a knack for connecting with a plethora of interesting and awesome humans. As humans we are natural storytellers, so let's share some food, experiences, and stories. I want to be your localie so I can share my point of view of the city, but I also want to explore with you and to share amazing experiences and stories together plus I will definitely share some homemade delicious vegan treats with you :).
I am a creator, dreamer, and a weird vegan who has no problem flying my freak flag. I am a freelance food photographer who loves to cook and bake new vegan dishes because I love telling a story with my food. I am an active person who is always trying new things, but I stay grounded with my meditation and yoga practice. I am in Toronto to be closer to the so-called action and to find more business opportunities. I want to help spread the good vibes of Toronto and the emerging vegan scene. I traveled on and off for two years around New Zealand and Australia working on organic farms, exploring many national parks, camping under the stars, eating some great vegan food, and taking a lot of photos. I have many stories please feel free to ask me about any and I would happily share them with you. One involves saving a baby owl.
The ambiance and sounds of the city plus it has so many different pockets of international flavors. It’s great for everyone from the sports-loving fan, the theatre lovers, the art enthusiasts, the traveler who wants to get lost in the streets, and even the nature lover. That's the best thing about Toronto is it is very adaptable to the many interests of the travelers. The thing that is so impressive is the enormous skyscrapers and the feeling of the so-called "concrete jungle" which is surrounded by little pockets of culture and the creative spirit. Toronto has a little bit of everything so I can assure you you will have an amazing time exploring the city.
As a lover of food, photography, nature, and architecture I will show you some unique spots where you can get great photos around the city. I will personally take candid photos of your trip if that is something you want so you can share and cherish the moments. I will definitely share some of my delicious vegan treats and we will explore the vegan food scene.
