My story
In fact, I sometimes feel that it was not me who chose Venice, but the city itself chose me. After my bachelor's degree, I worked for a company that deals with education abroad. Such organizations often hold education fairs to introduce prospective students to their foreign partners. It was at such an event that I, secretly dreaming of a master's program abroad, met the University of Venice, which offered me everything I wanted, and who would refuse to study in the cultural capital of Italy? So I decided to go on the best trip of my life :)
What do I do here?
At the new place, I started my master's program :) After writing my thesis on the works of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, I worked there and in other museums in the city for a while. Now I work at a private American university, helping students get to know Venice :)) And, of course, I love traveling! There are many interesting places to visit around Venice, more than a hundred islands alone, and some of them are perfect locations for a weekend trip!
What's the best of my city?
Venice is a wonder to behold! For a person who is here for the first time, everything seems amazing and enchanting. I'm not going to lie, even I haven't stopped thinking this way :)) Venice is for those who are not used to believing tourist stories; for those whose heart starts beating faster by the sound of the waves; for those who are used to surrounding themselves with classical art and those who like to experiment with art space. Venice is modest and chic, calm and lively, but always beautiful and enchanting.

Cafes and bars beloved by locals, the best observation deck in the city, a gondola ride for a couple of euros, a beautiful beach hidden from the eyes of tourists, the place where the Venice Film Festival is held, churches hidden from prying eyes, the best workshops where real Venetian masks are made, stores with original Murano glass, legendary works of art, unsurpassed examples of architecture recognized all over the world.... What else is needed to fall in love with this magical city on the water definitively and irrevocably? :)
