Lake Baikal is your dream? Then, this trip is for you =) We will see ice and snow on Lake Baikal, try peculiar Buryat cuisine, swim in hot springs in the middle of a winter fairy tale and visit the center of Buddhism in Russia. In February and March, Baikal is covered with a thick layer of fantastic ice - up to 2 meters and in good weather you can see the bottom. We, Buryats believe that Baikal is alive. In shamanism, the spirit of Baikal is one of the deities. People from all over the planet come here not only to visit the deepest lake in the world and its beauty but also to charge the internal batteries. Buryatia is usually sunny and welcoming is waiting for you! I am a local and will tell you about the customs and traditions of the Buryats, local beliefs, culture.
