Are you ready for a day in Santorini you will never forget ?? Then hop on ! ➡️ Gorgeous walk amongst the famous Santorini blue domes ➡️ Authentic Greek street food ➡️ Vlychada Beach and its lunar landscape ➡️ Sunset with wine We'll start with a 2h walk from Imerovigli to Fira, surrounded by whitewashed houses and blue domes. This trail is also the perfect opportunity to talk about Santorini's history, and how the catastrophic eruption of 1600 BC forever changed the destiny of this tiny Greek island. 🌋 This little hike will open your appetite for sure. Don't worry, I know just what you need ! A gyros, Greece's ultimate street food, on the main square of Fira. This is where I always eat my gyros, it's so much better than anywhere else on the island. Next up : Beach time ! We'll drive to Vlychada, a little fishing town with one of the most underrated beaches of Santorini. Its unique rock formations gave it the worthy name of "Moon Beach". After all of this, you'll probably feel the need to relax a bit, probably also have a shower. 🛀 So I'll drive you back to your hotel, where you'll have 2h to get ready for our epic evening. What's next, you wonder ? The sunset ! With wine ! 🌅🍷 We'll head to Megalochori, far away from the overcrowded Oia town, where everyone goes for sunset. And from the yard of a little local church, we'll have some traditional Santorini wine, while admiring one of the must precious sunsets of our lives !
I'm coming to pick you up, wherever you're staying on the island.
The walking path linking the village of Imerovigli with Fira, Santorini's capital, is one of the most beautiful walks you'll ever go on. Everywhere you look, it'll be whitewashed houses, blue domes and epic cliffs.
Time to eat !! And what better meal than a good old "σουβλάκι" (souvlaki), the ultimate Greek street food !
Next up : Vlychada, one of Santorini's most underrated beaches. Also called "Moon Beach" because of its lunar landscape, this is the perfect place to relax away from the crowd, and go for a refreshing swim.
I'm driving you back to your hotel, where you can have a shower and rest a bit, before continuing our epic day !
The outskirts of Megalochori village are one of the most beautiful (and hidden !) places to watch the world famous Santorini sunset from. And do you know what's even better than an amazing sunset ?? => an amazing sunset WITH WINE ! While enjoying the gorgeous panoramic view from Christos Church, we'll open a bottle of "Assyrtiko" with its mineral taste coming from the volcanic soil of the island.
