My story
Almaty is the largest and the most developed city in Kazakhstan. This is my “apple” hometown, (original name of Almaty is Alma-Ata which can be translated as the father of apples), I was born and raised here. Almaty is a homely soviet, cozy city, and modern at the same time where you feel at home, even when you only here for visiting. The most amazing thing in Almaty is the view from the windows, looking at the mountains, which are only 20 minutes away from the city center.
What do I do here?
Life here is very measured, but time is running out, and you don’t have enough time to notice, so I like to travel and come back home, here I “relax by soul”. I went to art school here, then I became a designer, but all my life I have been closely connected with the restaurant business. And all my friends are creative - photographers, musicians, directors.
What's the best of my city?
The main attraction of the city is the nature around Almaty: Chimbulak - ski resort, lakes and glaciers in the mountains, waterfalls, Charyn canyon, Tamgaly Tas, singing dunes - Altyn Emel. And the most important thing is people, they make the city unforgettable and where you want to return at some point. Another big plus of Almaty is that food is really good. Historically, the city is located on the Silk Road, with a mixture of many cultures. People from many nationalities live here and this is reflected in our meals, there are Russian, Kazakh, Uzbek, European cuisines.

I would love to share my culture, history of Kazakhstan, and tell you what is going on in our country, how the city life is and what it is about, how traditions get along with the modern culture, what difficulties arise. We can try the national cuisine (I know places ;-), drink good coffee, beer or wine, and take photos for memory. Spending time with me will be easy and pleasant, as we know each other for a long time. Obviously, to remember Almaty, you need to go to the mountains and look at it from there!
