I was born and raised in a small town in Algeria. I came here 4 years ago to continue my education. I chose Istanbul because it is a diverse city full of opportunities and potential. I like the mixture between the Western and Eastern civilizations. I cannot see any place where the two civilizations match in such a peaceful way.
I am currently studying Business Administration at a university here and I do freelancing jobs like photography and translating. I have been also a student back in my country before I decided to move here. Getting to know people from different cultures and countries changed my life and I am willing to get to know more.
What I like the most in this city is the very high number of viewpoints. It is so normal to pass by an amazing view in this city. I also like coffee shops and bars which are located pretty much everywhere in Istanbul. They have so many street cats and dogs and they're so peaceful and lovely. The food is just delicious in here, wherever you go, you won't regret eating in any place.
The secret sauce in my tour would be letting you have a local experience of the city. I do not go to places where it is packed with tourists and you have to wait in line to see a museum or something. You will go to markets where locals do their shopping, to restaurants where locals eat, and to coffee shops where locals drink their coffee. So don't be surprised if we go through narrow streets or to places where they only speak Turkish.
